Eric Roesch is the owner and principal at Ermitage Risk. With over 23 years of experience in the insurance industry, including senior roles at leading firms such as Zurich and AXA-XL, Eric has a proven track record in creating and managing insurance portfolios. During his product and portfolio leadership at these firms, he managed and refreshed over 20 specialty products such as D&O, Professional Liability, Surety, Warranty. At Zurich, he built the major middle market ISO products into the Guidewire Underwriting Application such as WC, GL, Auto and Property. He also implemented a small commercial WC portfolio on DuckCreek, and has created several specialty portfolios since. He’s created more than a dozen programs and portfolios and with his process focus has been able to improve a multitude of processes through Agentic AI.

He founded Ermitage Risk, first to build his own portfolios, but with the aim of eventually broadening his support to the industry as a whole. Leveraging an extensive industry network and deep expertise, Ermitage Risk is dedicated to providing support to portfolio builders across the United States, UK and Europe. Eric is passionate about redefining the insurance experience, delivering unparalleled service and support. Outside of work, he enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking and volunteering with local charities in the Denver area, further solidifying his commitment to the community.
